Is this an aloe plant?

Liz asks, "is this an aloe vera plant?"

This was taken on the grounds of a museum in Lima, Peru, and I'm,not exactly sure what to identify it as.

If you could help that would be great!

Yes, Liz, that looks like a healthy aloe vera plant. It has more points or teeth along the leaves than mine do here in Canada, but it agrees with other photos I've seen of aloe vera plants.

Maybe someone else will comment with a more exact name for this variety of aloe plant? Please do.
