Which species of Aloe is the best for topical skin care, and the easiest to grow indoors.
Hi Jeff,
thanks for your question.
Personally, I have only had experience with Aloe vera, but I know there are many other varieties in the aloes family. I've read that aloe vera is the most popular and best-known aloe plant in the world, but in some parts of the world, like Africa, they swear by aloe ferox. That plant is much larger and has a dusty pink look to the leaves, but it is also suppose to be 8 to 10 times stronger than just aloe vera.
Perhaps others can answer your question as to the Best aloe plant - if so, I hope they will stop to leave their comments.
Personally, I think God has provided a lot of variety around the world to accommodate all kinds of tastes and cultures and perhaps even physical needs. I recommend using whatever aloe plant you have in your reach. :)
If that isn't the best aloe plant for you, start researching and finding another. Hope this helps you get started.
Blessings & Thanks,
Ruth
