Focus and activities
This Task Force focuses on improving the uptake of AI and Big Data technologies in the healthcare sector.
The Task Force Healthcare brings together experts from the health and care sectors.The goal is to create a platform and a network of collaboration within the BDVA community to identify key technologies and research trends, such as the use of synthetic data in the healthcare domain. The Task Force has also links to the pharma and drug development fields.
The Task Force Healthcare is currently focusing on:
- Contribute to the research on synthetic data use in the healthcare domain;
- Support the knowledge dissemination and compliance with the European Healthcare Data Space;
- Include healthcare topics into partnerships, research programme and alliances;
- Support alignment between Horizon Europe and Digital Europe program for Healthcare related topics;
- Improve the adoption of AI and Big Data in healthcare through the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
BDVA’s Task Forces meet regularly, discussing the latest updates from the ecosystem, collaborating on publications and organising events.
