The European Data Union Strategy consultation is open: contribute to shape the EU’s data policy
The European Commission has launched today (23 May) the public consultation for the European Data Union, which will set the course for the EU’s data policy in the coming years.
The European Commission has launched today (23 May) the public consultation for the European Data Union Strategy, which will set the course for the EU’s data policy in the coming years.
First announced by Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in her political guidelines, the strategy aims to support the wider availability and use of data, in particular for AI; simplify and streamline the EU’s data regulatory landscape; and ensure that Europe remains open and assertive in shaping international data flows.
The European Data Union Strategy, together with the AI Continent Action Plan, is at the core of BDVA’s mission and this is why, BDVA alongside its members will be preparing our input to help shape these 2 strategies, which are critical for European competitiveness and prosperity.
