Following the success of its March workshop on emerging data and AI trends, the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) will host a workshop titled “A Deep Dive into AI Agents” on 8 May, from 13:00 to 16:00 CEST.

Organised by BDVA’s Task Force on Data and AI Technologies, the event will delve into one of the most highly requested topics identified during the previous event: the rise and relevance of AI Agents. These autonomous systems, capable of perceiving their environment, making decisions, and acting to achieve set goals, have gained significant traction through their integration with large language models (LLMs), opening new frontiers in AI deployment.

The workshop aims to clarify the concept of AI Agents and highlight their increasing role in both research and industry. It will showcase real-world scenarios and applications of AI Agents and also provide actionable insights and recommendations to innovation stakeholders including RTOs, industry leaders and policymakers. “A deep dive into AI Agents” will foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across the BDVA community.

The event addresses BDVA members, policy makers, projects / project consortia and representatives from other European innovation initiatives.

The agenda includes keynote presentations, real-world case studies and a panel discussion on the challenges, limitations and future directions of AI Agents, concluding with a summary of key takeaways and next steps for BDVA engagement.
