I bought an aloe plant from Walmart, as I was leaving the leaf brushed something, and kind of ripped it. It is every delicate. At the moment I have something propping it up, but I'm not sure if I should take it off or leave it alone. Any help or tips would be much appreciated.

Caring for Your Ripped Aloe Vera Plant
by: Ruth

Oh, I'm sorry it got wounded so soon!

But I think propping it up is the right thing to do. As long as it is even a little bit attached, it can draw healing and nourishment from the plant, and it may well fill up the wound and grow over it there.

If the leaf should fall off altogether, then I would give up and just cut open the leaf and scrape out the gel to use. Either to take it orally, or to smear it on a problem skin area.

Thank you for including the photos as that helps to see what it's condition is.

Blessings & Thanks,
Ruth
