My Main Aloe Vera Juice Recipe

I know I promised to share about my aloe vera juice recipe experiments. I'd even hoped to have a video ready to show you.

Well. It turns out I rather like my one main aloe vera juice recipe, so I haven't done much in the way of experiments. I can share that with you and you may adapt it as you like.

I'm still quite new at taking videos on my cell phone, and I haven't been able to figure out how to set it up so that I can have both hands free for making the juice. Last night I thought that at least I should be able to show how I smear the inside of the leaf skins over my face - but I sort of need to do that in front of the bathroom mirror and there was no suitable place at my face's level, to set up the phone without it wanting to slide away and fall into the toilet. So I gave up on that.

I'm thinking I need to have a friend over for this kind of photo session. You know how tricky that is with all of us being told to STAY AT HOME.

I'm usually quite resourceful, so I may figure out yet how to accomplish it all by myself. I'll let you know when that happens. :)

So here is my main, and currently my Favourite Recipe for Aloe Vera Juice.

I cut a leaf that is about as long as my arm, from my jumbo plant.

I wipe the dust off with a paper towel, and try to hold it so that the cut end can bleed that stronger, yellow ambertose onto the paper towel.

Then I slice off the sides with the little points. That makes it easier to slice the leaf nicely between the front and back skins.

I lay them on a long oval serving platter. If the leaf is too long for the platter I cut off the thin, pointed end, or cut it in half.

Now I take a spoon with a sharp edge, and scrap the gel out or off the inside of each side of the leaf.

Sometimes that comes off in shorter chunks, but often there are long, slippery pieces too. I cut them up with a kitchen knife.

Then I scrape all the pieces of gel into my blender/pitcher.

I shake in about a cup worth of frozen berries - sometimes just blueberries, but I also have mixed berries.

I add about 2 cups of drinking water.

I look around and decide, oh, maybe a scoop of that vanilla protein powder from Forever Living...

and 2 tablespoons of this coconut smoothee flavouring....

If I don't spy anything else I'd like in the drink, I put the lid on and seal it.
Now I buzz or blend it on the first setting, wait a bit, and then punch the next speed button, so all the berries and the aloe chunks are liqufied.

After a minute or two, I come back down to the first speed and to off.

Here it is time to pull two large mugs out of the cupboard, and pour the drink into them. The one I made this morning had enough left for half of a third mug full.

There are times when I tell myself that I have enough for two days, but if I open the fridge later and try to decide what to make for the next meal, I will often grab the next mug and drink down at least half of it. So by the end of the day I may have had two or more mugs full of this drink, and all I can say is that it heals my digestive tract, clears up cold sores over night, and generally adds more strength and stamina.

I can see that I need to grow more jumbo plants because I may have this big one finished off in another week or so! I'll have to go back to drinking the aloe vera juices from Forever Living. They cost - but they are good too!

Belated Easter Blessings

I am sorry to be late with this greeting. May I explain? I had written most of the above last week, when suddenly a notice popped up that my Firefox browser had been updated and I need to restart it. Without thinking everything through I quickly hit "Reboot." When I could return to my work here I discovered that I had not saved my work, and so it was gone. Poof!

By that time it was noon, and so I gave up in disappointment.

Towards the end of last week I was using this web-design program again (Quanta Plus). When I opened it up to work on a different website, up pops a window with this article in it and a message asking if I wanted to save my changes. I took a closer look and there were the paragraphs above as I had written them before the Reboot. I do not know where they hid all week, but Hallelujah! I was able to save them, and today finish up this issue of the Aloe-Vera Tips and Solutions.

Your USA Stimulus Check - How to Get it!

One of my side businesses is the RiseNetwork, which is the Training arm of another business with 12-15 streams of income coming in there. The exciting thing is that Kevin Hokoama, (a retired US Air Force Officer) who is a marketing Whiz, has been taking the members of the Inner Circle through a 20 day course with a daily action to DO (ie. send out an email, or make a Facebook post, etc.) and our membership has become excited at the results we are getting in signups and sales. Yes, even me!

As part of this plan Kevin has been showing us how to give out information about these Stimulus funds that the USA Government is promising to help people in need. The Canadian government has a similar plan, but so far I don't seem to qualify for that. So this helpful info that Kevin has been sharing, for us to share with our contacts, is of greatest benefit to Americans. I want to share yesterday's new information with you, in case you can benefit from this.

Hang onto your hat - as it may blow away!

Stimulus Check Update! (Open ASAP)

The U.S. Treasury department just released and update on how to get your stimulus check. Next week, the treasury department is launching a Get My Payment APP so you can get your check faster and not be standing around waiting for it.

Using the APP taxpayers can track the status of their payment but they will need to enter the following Information into the APP to use it.

– Social Security Number
– Date of birth
– Mailing address

Taxpayers who want to add their bank account information to speed receipt of their payment will also need to provide the following additional information:

1. Their Adjusted Gross Income from their most recent tax return submitted, either 2019 or 2018.

2. The refund or amount owed from their latest filed tax return
