Angie's aloe plant

I have no idea what kind of aloe I have, I'm in Florida. I'd love to know if this is safe to eat or apply topically. Thank you so much for your consideration.

Your Aloe Plant, Angie
by: Ruth

Hi Angie,
thanks for sharing your photos of your aloe plant.

From what I can see, I would call it a regular aloe vera plant.

What throws me off a bit is the lovely pink flowers. Mine have small yellow flowers, clustered close to the floral stem.

However, this may simply be a difference based on the growing zone. You are closer to the equator in Florida, than I am, in Canada.

I would like to appeal to other visitors who have more experience with this plant. Do you know the proper name for Angie's plant?

If so, please add your comment right below here.

Blessings & Thanks,
Ruth
