On 10 April 2025, BDVA will co-organise with SEMIC a workshop aiming to explore the state of the art in techniques, tools, and applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance semantic interoperability, including real-world use cases where LLMs facilitate data models alignment, semantic enrichment and cross-domain interoperability. Beyond mapping advancements in the field, the workshop seeks to identify main challenges and issues, as well as key actors and communities working on them fostering collaboration and establishing a knowledge-sharing group dedicated to LLM-driven semantic interoperability.<\/p>\n

We hereby invite researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to contribute with short presentations (10-minute) showcasing how Large Language Models (LLMs) enhance semantic interoperability<\/strong><\/span>, ensuring that data exchanged between systems is correctly interpreted and effectively used.<\/p>\n

The workshop will explore techniques, tools, and real-world applications that improve the accuracy, automation, and scalability of semantic interoperability processes.<\/p>\n

Selected applicants will have the unique opportunity to present their work to a community of experts, fostering insightful discussions and enabling them to refine and enrich their contributions based on diverse perspectives.<\/p>\n

Additionally, all selected presentations will be featured in a comprehensive report summarising key findings, insights, and main takeaways emerged. This publication will be made available on the SEMIC and BDVA websites, offering further visibility for your work.<\/p>\n

Finally, presenters (and other applicants with relevant proposals but not selected for this workshop) will be included in a knowledge-sharing group focused on LLM-driven semantic interoperability, with opportunities to participate in follow-up BDVA and SEMIC activities, including workshops, events, and presentations.<\/p>\n

Submissions will be selected based on their relevance to the workshop\u2019s theme and the significance of their content. The number of accepted contributions will be adapted to fit the workshop\u2019s structure and duration, with an estimated 10 presentations planned.<\/p>\n
