Telecommunication infrastructure and specifically 5G applied in various industrial sectors<\/strong> plays an important role in keeping\/gaining European leadership in different industrial areas (e.g. industrial automation, healthcare, self-driving cars, \u2026), but also in different technological areas (e.g. edge\/fog computing, ultra-reliable low latency communications, massive machine communications, \u2026).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Telecommunication infrastructure as a connector between various industrial sectors (e.g. 5G, Industry 4.0, self-driving vehicles), enables the usage of data across industrial sectors. <\/span>A large amount of data will be available by the usage of telecommunication infrastructure in different industrial sectors. <\/span>Artificial intelligence (AI) will be one fundamental technology enabler for the upcoming 6G technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Task Force Telecom is meant to get in contact with other European initiatives relevant for this sector and BDVA task forces and boost collaboration<\/strong>. Its activities investigates privacy preserving mechanisms<\/strong> to make privacy sensitive data available and collaborates with the TF Data Protection.<\/p>\n
