{"id":348,"date":"2023-09-23T09:32:14","date_gmt":"2023-09-23T07:32:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bdva.eu\/?post_type=task-forces&#038;p=348"},"modified":"2025-05-19T14:52:14","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T12:52:14","slug":"smart-manufacturing-industry","status":"publish","type":"task-forces","link":"https:\/\/bdva.eu\/task-forces\/smart-manufacturing-industry\/","title":{"rendered":"Smart Manufacturing Industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Task Force Smart Manufacturing Industry has a specific focus mainly in the B2B area, which is distinguished in different areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Smart Factory:<\/strong> applications for better information within a company;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Smart Supply Chain:<\/strong> applications between suppliers and producers\/manufacturers in a chain (e.g., e-PLM);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Smart Product Lifecycle:<\/strong> applications giving data about the use of a product or service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The TF\u2019s goal is thus to c<strong>reate an exchange of views<\/strong>, so that BDVA members can better understand what activities are running in EU and within the different countries and can learn from the experience of each other. This early exchange will lead to<strong> innovations that are better tailored to real needs<\/strong>.
