frozen aloe vera plant

Hello -

I did a web search to try and figure out if my aloe vera plant can be salvaged after I left the poor thing outside in 20-degree temperatures last night.

I happened across your website and found your entry about your frozen, wilted aloe plants.

My plant doesn't look quite as bad. Some of the younger, inner shoots are still standing straight up. The larger leaves of the plant feel firm at the tips, but very soft and spongy closer to the roots. Is there anything I can do to save my little plant? Should I trim any portion of it back?

Thanks for your help!

Leslie
